![]() ![]() ![]() Monitor employment and benefit law trends, elevate changes accordingly and spearhead the writing of policy (in coordination with the CPO).Serve as benefits subject matter expert to provide advice to/answer questions for employees.Manage day to day benefit administration, as well as annual open enrollment (including health insurance, life and disability insurance, flex spending, retirement, commuter benefits, etc.).Manage relationships with benefits brokers and makes recommendations to leadership.Identify and recommend updates/improvements to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.Serve as payroll subject matter expert to provide advice to/answer questions for employees.Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions on a regular basis.Maintain accurate records and ensure all details are documented as per company standards.Collaborate with People Strategy Manager and accounting/finance teams.Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits.Supervise any employees who support the payroll process, whether these are contractors, administrative support, full time support, etc.Manage unemployment filing and requests.Ensure compliance with country, federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices, as well as internal policies & procedures.Assist with the documentation of employee compensation.new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g.Coordinate with People Strategy Manager on movement of our global workforce that result in changes to each payroll period.Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems.Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.Implement, maintain, review, and audit payroll processing procedures and systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Establish best practices for the company's multi state and multi country payroll and make timely adjustments to comply with legislation requirements.Proven abilities to work across stakeholder groups is essential for success in this role as our teams work collaboratively across the corporate departments to best understand how we collectively support the business as trusted partners! With our growing business, the individual in this role must be highly driven and detail-oriented and work efficiently in a self-directed environment, taking initiative and proactively improving processes with alignment from key stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong analytical and relationship building skills. This position will report to the Chief People Officer, and work closely with our Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. This person will be the subject matter expert and go-to team members for employees across the globe (today focused on the United States, United Kingdom, and Switzerland). This position supports our US and global offices to ensure transactional excellence, compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in our benefits and payroll functions.
